With over 1,500 different wines, perfectly aging in the ideal conditions of our historic 1870 vaulted sandstone cellar, our wine list is one of the best in the entire country. It is with our large selection of top German wines in particular, of which an impressive depth of vintage is often available, that we look forward to delighting our guests every day. Andreas Scherle is always happy to help you select the perfect bottle to accompany your meal, or alternatively the perfect by-the-glass pairing for every dish along with a brief description of each wine.

Where the Summer Shows its Bright Side

Nestled behind the Restaurant Zur Weinsteige Stuttgart, our romantic Vineyard Terrace with seating for 25 guests is a wonderful way to spend a few leisurely hours on a lovely summer’s day. Here you can enjoy our fine dining menu surrounded by grape vines. The walls, made of local travertine stone from Cannstatt, radiate the day’s warmth late into the evening and the sight of the fish swimming lazy circles in the large aquarium allow the chaos of the city to fade away.
